We Love VR and understand the power it brings to have empathy.

Everybody that has used VR to learn something new, knows VR is the most nimble and efficient way to learn.

When it comes to teaching someone what it is like to walk in someone else's shoes, empathy is the greatest tool to use.

How Empathy Reality™ was created.

Empathy Reality™ was created as an idea one day after seeing a man in a wheelchair use Virtual Reality to experience a bike ride.  He rode a bicycle a lot before he had an accident that left them in a wheel chair.  Using VR he had the presence he was riding a bike across the open country.

Upon taking off the VR headset, with a puddle in his eye, he said, “that is the first time I rode a bike since my accident”.  I knew right then, right there, that VR could teach empathy.

Empathy Reality is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another, in the state of things as they actually exist,

Empathy Reality™ is referred to as ER.

ER is a key component to Immersive Education and using VR in business.   It will be ER that makes the VR market grow and increase acceptance in everything we do.

With ER and Immersive Education, we can teach other people what it is like to be someone else.  As an example, if you are a manufacturer making products for older adults that live in an assistive living facility, then you need ER to understand what your customers need.  The days of designing products that don’t meet the special needs of an aging population will be eliminated with ER.  Using ER and Immersive Education as a tool to teach, we will be able to design better products for persons with special needs which will increase revenue for many businesses.

For businesses that sell on-line like Amazon, ER will allow you to offer your customers the closest experience of test driving a product without leaving your home or office.  The ER front end menu will provide accessibility options allowing speech and sounds to have caption for the hearing impaired, and audio description for the visually impaired.  I imagine someday, ER will be included for Prime members because they will want a closer look and feel to what they purchase on-line.  This will increase revenue for Amazon and insure customer satisfaction with every purchase.

With ER, you can learn to have patience and be empathetic which allows you to understand what another person is experiencing from within the other person’s frame of reference, i.e., the capacity to place oneself in another’s shoes.

A whole new business will emerge allowing us to purchase ER from someone else and experience what they are doing.  Imagine if you could use ER and sit in Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s car as you drive around a NASCAR track.  You could have the experience of your life!   What if ER would have been available for Peyton Manning’s last football game?  Everyone could have experienced Peyton’s last game in their own living room, as he yelled out "O-ma-ha, set hut".

With ER, Facebook will be able to offer a new form of communication allowing users to experience each other’s environment, or create a virtual environment that becomes the space for a family reunion or another event.

With ER, travel agents will be able to allow potential customers to experience a destination before they buy it.

With ER, rehabilitation will have a new tool which can help speed up recovery.

The potential for ER is Big Business, and we are truly only limited by our imagination or sense of purpose.
